Hailing from the Midwest, Monica began her career in the nonprofit sector. During her time at the University of Michigan, she led an organization called Dance Marathon, Inc. and raised over $500,000 for pediatric rehabilitation programs, while also working to enhance community awareness of disability advocacy. After school, she worked as a Program Director at a nonprofit organization, focused on transportation and advocacy for individuals with disabilities throughout Michigan and Ohio. Looking to increase her impact, Monica moved to San Francisco and earned her Master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship at Hult International Business School.
