New, State of the Art Hospital for Rural Kenya

Schaffer&Combs partners James Schaffer and Arthur Combs act as the executive director for the Tiba Foundation, a California philanthropy.  Tiba announced this week the groundbreaking for a new community hospital they are funding in a roadless region of Western Kenya.

The hospital will serve a cachement area of nearly a quarter million people, and help lead to greater productivity and prosperity, as well as better health, for the local people.
