Jane Symmes brings extensive experience with mission-driven programs and grassroots organizing to Schaffer&Combs, particularly within the U.S and Latin America. After earning a B.A. in International Studies and Spanish from Kenyon College, Jane interned and later worked for Global Fund for Women as an AmplifyChange advisor, supporting grantees in Sub-Saharan Africa to create indicators of change, workplans, and budgets. Jane also worked as a field organizer for the New Hampshire Democratic Party during the 2016 presidential election. Her early work experience includes a Public Policy internship at Planned Parenthood and a youth counselor at SERPAJ organization in Valparaíso, Chile.

Jane loves to play music and explore the outdoors. Originally from New Hampshire, Jane is excited to start exploring the California coast. Traveling and living abroad is also very important to Jane, she has lived in Chile, New Zealand, and Spain.
